State Enforcement Service annuls decision to transfer 2 bcm of gas from Ukrtransgaz to Ukrnafta

Head of the Pechersky department of the State Enforcement Service in Kyiv has annulled the act and resolution of the public enforcement officer dated June 3, 2016 to transfer over 2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas from public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz to public joint-stock company Ukrnafta, the press service of Naftogaz Ukrainy has reported.

"The resolution of the State Enforcement Service was issued too early, as ownership to assets [gas] has not yet passed to the claimant. Naftogaz Ukrainy welcomes the annulment of the June 3 resolution. The company believes that dispute between two economic entities should be solved in line with legislation and legal acts that were in effect at the moment of the appearance of legal collision," Naftogaz said.

The press service said that a representative of the State Enforcement Service groundlessly transferred around 2 bcm of gas to Ukrnafta, using a fake enforcement act.
