Some 300,000 families could receive credits for energy efficiency this year
Deputy Prime Minister, Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Economy Minister Hennadiy Zubko has said that citizens have returned two thirds of credits taken for energy efficiency in 2015. He expressed hope that 300,000 families will receive these credits in 2016.
"Two thirds of the credits received in 2015 have been repaid," he said on the Espresso TV.
Zubko said that in 2015 some 100,000 families received the credits and as of June 24, 2016 – 40,000 families.
"We see the pace and that people will understand that something should be done: up to 300,000 families that will use the program could be seen by the end of the year," he said.
