Ukraine boosts gas stocks in inventories by 1 bcm of gas in 70 days after completion of heating season
Ukraine after the completion of the heating season 2015/2016 has increased natural gas stocks at Ukraine's underground storage facilities, public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz has reported.
If on April 6 8.438 billion cubic meters of gas were in the underground storage facilities, then on June 15 gas stocks amounted to 9.427 billion cubic meters.
Average daily pumping to the underground storage facilities in 70 days after completion of the heating season was 14.1 million cubic meters.
Starting from June Ukraine has reduced gas imports to 500,000 cubic meters a day and pumped gas into the underground storage facilities thanks to domestic gas production by 18.5 million cubic meters every day (in the period from June 1 through June 15).
