Ukraine should be among top 50 countries in Doing Business in 2017, top 20 in 2018
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers intends by the end of this year to settle legislative initiatives that would allow Ukraine to improve its positions in the World Bank's Doing Business report and enter the top 50 best counties in 2017 and the top 20 in 2018.
According to a plan of top priority actions of the government for 2016 posted on the government's website on Friday, the ground for improving the country's position in the rating is the implementation of practices of effective regulation reflected by the World Bank group in the report methods for 2016 and approved by cabinet resolution No. 1406 of December 16, 2015.
According to the document, this would help to increase foreign and internal investment.
As reported, Ukraine climbed from 87th to 83rd position in Doing Business 2016.
