Ukraine plans to extend uranium enrichment contract with Russia in 2016
Ukraine is planning to extend its uranium contract with Russia in 2016, Oleksandr Rybchuk, General Director of Atomprojectengineering, Energoatom's subdivision in Ukraine, said at the Atomexpo 2016 forum.
Ukraine buys 60,000 SWUs (separate work units) each year, he said. "There are plans to extend the contract this year. There are plans for supplies from the International Uranium Enrichment Center in 2016," he said.
