Ukrenergo sees 13.2% fall in power transmission via trunk power grids in Jan-April
National energy company Ukrenergo in January through April 2016 cut electricity transmission through the country's backbone and interstate power grids by 13.2%, or by 5.746 billion kWh, to 37.827 billion kWh, the company's press service has reported.
Over the period under review, the cost of the company's electricity transmission services grew by 28.8%, or by UAH 313.569 million, to UAH 1.403 billion.
According to the report, in January through April 2016 the company increased capital investment by 3.4% (by UAH 31.143 million), to UAH 956.783 million.
The company's total expenditure increased by 3% (by UAH 22.358 million), to UAH 757.153 million, in particular repair costs rose by 35.6% (by UAH 9.986 million), to UAH 38.044 million.
As reported, Ukrenergo in 2015 reduced transmission of electricity through main networks by 7.5% (by 9.747 billion kWh) compared to 2014, to 120.094 billion kWh. The cost of services for power transmission increased by 73% over the past year (by UAH 2.248 billion), to UAH 5.327 billion.
