Ukroboronprom: Upgraded surveillance device for T-64 tank spots objects three km away
The modernized surveillance device TPN-1-49-23 for T-64 tank is installed and being tested by specialists at Kharkiv Plant of Armor Tanks.
"The device can recognize a tank, a car or human at day or at night at the distance of up to three kilometers," Ukroboronprom State Concern reported.
The plant's specialists are testing modern ways of modernizing equipment and innovative solutions. They integrate management software, improve reconnaissance assets and automate combat commands.
Kharkiv Plant of Armor Tanks intends to transfer 14 T-80 tanks and 21 modernized T-64 tanks by the end of the first half of this year to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
