Miklos insists on accelerating privatization of state enterprises in Ukraine
The process of privatization of state enterprises in Ukraine should be accelerated, the co-chair of a group of strategic advisers on reforms in Ukraine, ex-Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic Ivan Miklos has said.
"Almost nothing has been done in privatization. The process needs to be speeded up and this should be one of the government's priorities," he said after the presentation of a draft plan of the government's priority steps at a cabinet meeting in Kyiv.
In addition, Miklos said one of the priorities is de-monopolization in Ukraine.
He also stressed fight against corruption, rule of law in the country are extremely important and necessary.
