Ukraine, Turkey agree on speedy conclusion of FTA talks - Ukraine's trade representative
Ukraine and Turkey have agreed to complete negotiations on signing a Free Trade Agreement under balanced and mutually advantageous conditions as soon as possible, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska has said after Ukrainian-Turkish negotiations.
According to the press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the parties also agreed to hold talks on amending the intergovernmental agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion, as well as the agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments signed in 1996.
Mykolska added that the sides agreed to boost bilateral trade this year, increasing exports and Turkish investment in Ukraine's economy.
