The NBU fulfilled all the conditions of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program, which are related to the bank's activities, and is currently awaiting a speedy completion of the second review of the EFF, Gontareva said.
The meeting participants also discussed the NBU's monetary policy amid inflation targeting and the steps for further liberalization of foreign exchange regulation and the reboot of the banking sector, the statement said.
As reported, the IMF mission started its work in Ukraine on Tuesday in the framework of the second review of the EFF program. The mission will work in Ukraine until May 18.
