Occupied Donbas supplies coal to Kyiv-controlled territories – minister

A coal from the occupied Donbas is supplied to the Kyiv-controlled territory, Minister for Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Vadym Chernysh said.

"The coal from the occupied territories is supplied to the Ukrainian territories [controlled by the government] and provides us with electric power…I emphasize that many people work there, hundreds of thousands, who pay tax, and the enterprises, which pay military duty. To whom? To Ukraine," the minister said on Channel 5 television on Friday.

He said that Ukrainian enterprises, which have been re-registered in Kyiv-controlled regions, deal with coal supplies from the occupied territories.
