Food and Grain Corporation budgets about UAH 1 bln on new program
PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine within the forward buying program, which was launched on April 1, intends to purchase 200,000 tonnes of wheat, 200,000 tonnes of barley, 400,000 tonnes of maize and 45,000 tonnes of soybeans.
"Today we are talking about UAH 1 billion," the director of the forward purchases department, Dmytro Yermolenko, said in Kyiv, asked about the level of funding for the forward program.
He said the delivery terms remain unchanged: early grains should be delivered by August, corn and soybeans by November 1, 2016.
An advance payment per tonne of wheat, barley or corn will be UAH 1,980 including VAT, that for one tonne of soybeans UAH 3,960. Funds are provided at 15% per annum.
Final payment for the delivered goods is carried out on the basis of its quantity, the purchase price of stock on the date of delivery, the size of an advance payment, the exchange rate difference and the value of cash services.
The main conditions for agricultural producers remain financial stability, credit history, and the positive findings of financial experts.
