Metinvest sees revenues rise by 4.7%, posts EBITDA of $42 mln in Feb
Metinvest B.V. (the Netherlands), the parent company of Metinvest international vertically integrated mining and steel group, in February 2016 saw a positive EBITDA of $42 million, whereas in the previous month this figure was minus $15 million.
According to the company's preliminary unaudited consolidated financial statements posted under IFRS, its revenues in February 2016 were $421 million, while in the previous month $402 million.
The company did not provide comparable data for February 2015.
The report states that the adjusted EBITDA of the group's steel division in February 2016 was $23 million, while that of the mining sector reached $20 million, the costs of the managing company stood at minus $10 million, intercompany sales amounted to $10 million. As a result, EBITDA in February totaled $42 million.
Total revenues in February 2016 consisted of those of the steel division of the group in the amount of $344 million, mining - $138 million, intercompany sales came to minus $61 million. As a result, total revenues in February reached $421 million.
