Ukrnafta starts central office restructuring

Public joint-stock company Ukrnafta has started restructuring of its central office aimed at increasing efficiency of the company's operation and optimizing organization processes, the press service of the company reported on Tuesday.

The press service said that the decision was made after analyzing all organization processes. The new structure is intended to improve effectiveness of company management in an effort to facilitate the organization system and improve teamwork of the divisions.

"Changes would touch all divisions of the central office. Of course, they would help Ukrnafta to reach a new level. Some dismissals are inevitable and the workforce will be reduced. We guarantee an individual approach to each employee and a deserving compensation in line with Ukrainian law and the collective agreement," the company said, citing its chief Mark Rollins.

The press service said that the current management model does not meet modern requirements, and there is no a clear scheme of cooperation between divisions. This results in doubling some functions and liabilities.

The changes first would touch management divisions linked to production and processing of fossil fuel, procurement system, labor protection and other divisions. Eventually, the changes would touch all divisions of Ukrnafta.
