Turkey seeks special conditions for agriculture in agreement with Ukraine - ambassador
Turkey wants to include a provision on special conditions for agriculture into the agreement on free trade area (FTA) with Ukraine, Turkish Ambassador to Ukraine Yonet Can Tezel has said.
"We held talks on the FTA with 32 countries and we always included special conditions for agriculture," the ambassador said in Kyiv on Wednesday, adding that he hopes that the case with Ukraine will be the same.
The diplomat noted that the Ukrainian enterprises have been enjoying a grace period for a long time.
Tezel also expressed his belief that the FTA will inevitably lead to an increase in investment into Ukraine in other areas.
