Rada profile committee ready to improve laws on offshore companies – MP Yuzhanina
Chairman of the parliamentary committee on taxation and customs policy Nina Yuzhanina (the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction) has called on the leaders of parliamentary factions and committees to join the improvement of tax legislation in part of work with offshore companies.
"Let's professionally deal with the issue of taxation in work with offshore companies. We have already said that Article 39 in the current Tax Code regulates taxation of operations related to offshore companies. Let's discuss all other questions within the profile committee, with the assistance of experts, and make a decision what changes are to be put in tax laws. Then statements on this topic would be more constructive and not so politicized," the lawmaker said.
As reported, on April 11 President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels said about the need to take a number of steps for 'de-offshorization'.
