Ukraine pumps 5.95 mcm of gas into UGS on April 7-8
Ukraine on April 7-8 pumped 5.95 million cubic meters (mcm) of natural gas into its underground gas storage facilities (UGS), the head of the PR department at Ukrtransgaz, Maksym Beliavsky, has said.
"Not much but the main thing we've started. Starting from April 7, Ukraine's gas stocks are being replenished. Gas is injected into the Uherske UGS in Lviv region. On April 7-8 some 2.15 million cubic meters and 3.8 million cubic meters respectively were pumped into the UGS," he wrote on his Facebook page.
He also noted that Ukraine has not been importing Russian gas for own needs for 134 days.
As reported, Ukraine on April 7, 2016 started injection of natural gas in its underground storage facilities.
