Share of PrivatBank in Latvia's PrivatBank down to 46.54%
The share of Ukrainian PrivatBank in Latvian PrivatBank has decreased from 50.02% to 46.54% of charter capital, according to a bank financial report.
Latvian PrivatBank in March increased charter capital by issuing 6 million shares with a par value of EUR1, but Ukrainian PrivatBank did not participate in the issue, and its share decreased.
The capital of PrivatBank in March was increased to EUR86.35 million.
Hennadiy Boholiubov and Ihor Kolomoisky (both based in Cyprus), the largest shareholders of Ukrainian PrivatBank, at the beginning of 2016 owned 9% of the shares in Latvian PrivatBank each. Concorde (Bermuda) Limited owned 8.5%, Cypriot Unimain Holdings Limited and Wadless Holdings Limited 5.68% and 4.86% of the shares respectively.
As reported, Latvian PrivatBank in 2015 posted an audited profit of EUR493,000, which is several times less than in 2014.
According to the Association of Latvian Commercial Banks, at the end of 2015 in terms of total assets PrivatBank ranked 11th among Latvian banks.
