NBU permits MPs Bohuslayev, Ivakhiv to buy bank shares
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) committee for supervision and regulation of banks on April 1 permitted people's deputy Viacheslav Bohuslayev and his son Oleksandr to jointly and indirectly acquire a 96.4655% stake in Motor-Bank (Zaporizhia), according to the NBU.
According to its data, on the same day the committee allowed people's deputy Stepan Ivakhiv and his partner in Continium Group Serhiy Lahur to increase the stake in Bank for Investment and Savings (BIS-Bank, Kyiv) to 17.5% each, whereas in August last year Lahur owned 9.15% and Ivakhiv 9.9% in the bank.
In addition, the NBU allowed Dmytro Polkovsky to acquire 25.15% in Bank Globus, Andriy Perkal 100% in Bank Vector, Oleksiy Kotkovsky 41.2577% in Investbank, and Serhiy Sihorskikh 10% in Smartbank.
The National Bank also decided to recognize the significant participation of Gregory Gurtovoy in Platinum Bank and Yevhen Kazmin in Commercial Industrial Bank, regardless of formal ownership, noting that their packages of documents are being considered and need to be improved.
