Japan to assign EUR 3.5 mln for building new storage facility at Chornobyl NPP
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has announced the allocation of EUR 3.5 million for the construction of a spent nuclear fuel storage facility at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
"Japan allocates EUR 3.5 million for the construction of a new storage facility [for spent nuclear fuel] at Chornobyl NPP," he said in a press statement after a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
