Yatseniuk initiates ban on purchase of Russian fuel
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has initiated the introduction of a ban on purchase of fuel in Russia.
"I ask the Economic Development and Trade Ministry to work on a procedure for banning purchase of fuel from the aggressor state, which Russia is," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
The prime minister said that earlier Ukraine imposed some sanctions against Russia, but fuel was not placed to the sanctions list.
He said that the issue is to be raised by the government at an extraordinary meeting on Friday.
