Ukrtransgaz: Share of private traders importing gas to Ukraine was 50.1% in March
The share of private traders (12 companies) importing supplies of natural gas from Europe to Ukraine reached 50.1% in March, Head of the public and media relations department at Ukrtransgaz Maksym Beliavsky has said.
"For comparison, natural gas was imported only by two [private] companies and Naftogaz Ukrainy in March last year," he wrote on his Facebook page.
He said that gas imports to Ukraine in March 2016 totaled 478 million cubic meters.
Ukrtransgaz, fully owned by Naftogaz Ukrainy, operates a system of trunk gas pipelines and 12 underground gas storage facilities in the country.
