WOG diesel fuel for Ukrzaliznytsia exceeds market prices - Ukrtatnafta

The price of diesel fuel of UAH 16,850 per tonne (VAT included), which WOG Aero Jet LLC plans to set for public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia, exceeds market prices, public joint-stock company Ukrtatnafta, which operates Kremenchuk Oil Refinery, has said.

"Ukrzaliznytsia's Center for Provision of Production attempted to excuse itself, giving the market price of diesel fuel as of March 29, 2016 for comparison. According to the information provided, the average market price of one tonne of diesel fuel with VAT is allegedly from UAH 17,200 to UAH 19,580 per tonne. Ukrtatnafta is surprised with these market prices… We inform that Ukrtatnafta in March sold fuel at the prices of UAH 15,000-16,700 per tonne," the company said in a press release.

Ukrtatnafta said that there many questions about the mechanism for selecting the winners of the Ukrzaliznytsia's auction and the revision of prices after the auction.

"The winner was selected with the smallest price, while fuel was delivered at the unclear average price without updating the offers of other bidders," the company said.
