Contract price for gas for Ukraine in Q2 is lower than $180 per 1,000 square m

The contract price for Russian gas for Ukraine in Q2 2016 is less than $180 per thousand sqare meters, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.

Gazprom has not asked the government for a discount on the contract gas price for Ukraine.

Earlier Novak said that starting on April 1 Russia will not provide Ukraine with a discount for gas, therefore in Q2, the contract price in full will be in place.
