Compensation for energy efficiency credits reaches UAH 123 mln in Dec 2015
The State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine in December 2015 spent UAH 123 million to reimburse banks participating in the state program promoting thermal modernization and increased energy efficiency in the housing sector.
The agency's website said homeowner associations in Decmeber 2015 received refunds in the amount of UAH 600,000 on credit for thermal modernization work and increasing energy efficiency
Families who received credits to buy energy-efficient materials received UAH 116 million in compensation. Some UAH 6.4 million was spent on boilers using alternative fuel.
The agency said UAH 427.3 million has been spent since the start of the program in 2014.
