Iranian Mahan Air together with UM Air to launch flights from Kyiv to seven Asian cities in March
Iranian airline Mahan Air, which is entering the Ukrainian market, together with UM Air will launch flights from Kyiv to seven cities in Asia, according to a press release from Mahan Air.
In particular, the airlines will launch flights to Dubai (the United Arab Emirates), Bangkok, Delhi (both in India), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou (all in China).
The flights will be carried out through Khomeini airport in Tehran.
"Routes via the Tehran "hub" significantly reduce the total time of the flights," reads the press release.
Mahan Air plans to open an office in Kyiv in about two months.
Currently the company plans to operate flights only to the capital of Ukraine, but among the interesting routes its representatives also named Odesa, Kherson, and Lviv.
