Ukraine exports 27.7 mln tonnes of grain since start of 2015/16 agri-year
Ukraine since the beginning of 2015/16 agricultural year (July-June) as of March 11, 2016 had exported 27.732 million tonnes of grain, the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry reported on Friday.
The ministry said that 12.06 million tonnes of wheat, 11.54 million tonnes of corn, 3.97 million tonnes of barley and 319,000 tonnes of other grain crops were exported.
The prices of grain today vary depending on the region: third class wheat – UAH 3,250-4,000 per tonne and six class fodder wheat – UAH 3,100-3,600 per tonne.
Prices of third class bread wheat are UAH 3,350-4,410 per tonne and fodder wheat – UAH 3,250-4,290 per tonne depending on the region.
Average price of barley is UAH 3,709 per tonne and corn – UAH 3,904 per tonne.
