Forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth in 2016 revised downwards from 2% to 1% - finance minister
Forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth in 2016 has been revised downwards from 2% to 1%, Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko said at the 12th Annual Investor Conference organized by Dragon Capital in Kyiv on Thursday.
"We could say about 1% growth this year, not 2%," she said.
She said that the budget for the first two months of 2016 should be revised and analyzed.
Jaresko said that she is not glad about the situation in agriculture and the metal sector. She expects that collection of taxes to the budget would fall due to a decline in the prices of goods.
