Loss of Ukrainian banks reaches UAH 1.15 bln in Jan – revised data
Loss of Ukrainian banks, not taking into account insolvent banks, reached UAH 1.15 billion in January 2016, according to the revised data, the National Bank of Ukraine has reported on its website.
Earlier in late February the NBU said that the loss of the banks, not taking into account insolvent banks, was UAH 890 million in January 2016.
Revenue of banks in January totaled UAH 12.175 billion and expenses – UAH 13.324 billion.
The number of operating banks in Ukraine as of February 1, 2016 was 117.
