Ukraine continues working on memo with IMF, date of getting tranche unknown
Ukraine continues working on the text of the memorandum on the economic and financial policy of the country to receive a new tranche under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), although the concrete date of sending it to the IMF and the possible provision of the third tranche is unknown, Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko has said.
"Nothing has changed, we have a memorandum which is revised once in two weeks. This is a live document and something is changed every week," she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.
"The situation is live, and the memo is being discussed. There are no concrete problems, but it is required that everything has reached its end," Jaresko said.
She said that the tranche will be provided.
