Prior to the dispatch, the new ordnance was tested by the Defense Ministry on the Honcharivske firing range in Chernihiv region and was accepted for use by the Ukrainian armed forces.
"The new model of the mortar has got the positive feedback from the military and technical experts. Now it may demonstrate its full capacity in real battles. Mayak plant is ready to fully meet the Ukrainian army's demand in that armament," the press service quotes Mayak Director Oleksandr Perehudov as saying.
