EU: trilateral gas negotiations possible in late March
The European Commission has proposed to hold trilateral gas negotiations involving Ukraine, the European Union and Russia at the end of the current heating season (in late March), Vice-President of the EU Commission for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic said.
He said at the at Adam Smith Conferences' Ukrainian Energy Forum in Kyiv, on Tuesday, that he believed that the sides would meet at the end of the current heating season.
The day of negotiations has yet to be chosen, Sefcovic said.
