Ukrainian military reports ten militant attacks in Donbas

Between 6 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday the Ukrainian military recorded ten militant attacks on their strongholds, according to the press center of the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.

"Near Mayorsk, the enemy fired 120 millimeter mortars; near Zaitseve, 82 millimeter mortars. There was militant point shooting at our fortifications near Krasnohorivka and Shyrokyne; also, near Krasnohorivka mercenaries fired autocannons," the press center said on its Facebook page.

Militants also attacked Ukrainian strongholds near Maryinka, Opytne, Mayorsk, and Zaitseve with small arms, large-caliber machineguns and various grenade systems, the press center said.

Ukrainian military strongholds near Avdiyivka, Pisky, Novhorodske and Luhanske came under unsighted fire from small arms and automatic grenade launchers, the press center said.

At midnight, militantsreduced their activity, the press center said.
