Government will form register of software developed for state funds
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the decision, according to which a register of software created for public funds will be formed with the possibility of transferring the software to state authorities.
The decision was made on February 24.
"We are amending three resolutions, by which exclude the possibility of non-transferring software created using public funds to state authorities. After the adoption of these documents all software designed using state funds should be included in the national register. The one, who will keep this register, will be determined, as well as general requirements for the software purchased for budget funds will be developed," Vice Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko said.
He said that each ministry and subordinate state-owned enterprises have to "deal with the existing software purchased for state money."
