Ukrspyrt resumes operation of Zalozetsky production site in Ternopil region
State-run enterprise Ukrspyrt on February 11, 2016 after a four-year break has resumed operation of the Zalozetsky production site in Ternopil region, the enterprise said in a press release on Monday.
The plant has agreements on supply of spirit to Ukrainian strong alcohol producers.
In a week of its operation the Zalozetsky production site shipped 18,300 decaliteres of premium spirit. The daily capacity of the enterprise is 3,000 decaliters of ethyl spirit.
"It is unprofitable to launch production for less than one month. The Zalozetsky production site is loaded at full, its products are of great demand, and the shipment plan is set up for a month ahead," Ukrspyrt Deputy Director Serhiy Bleskun said.
Ukrspyrt is managed by the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry. In 2014, Ukrspyrt distilleries manufactured about 15 million decaliters of alcohol, the entire volume was sold in the domestic market.
