Privatization of Ukrgazvydobuvannia can be launched after bringing gas prices to market level in Apr 2017 - Kobolev
Naftogaz Ukrainy supports the privatization of Ukrgazvydobuvannia, Ukraine's largest gas producer and Naftogaz's 100% subsidiary, but considers it appropriate to put it up for sale only after April 2017, when all gas prices in the country are brought to the market level, Naftogaz Head Andriy Kobolev has said.
Speaking at a meeting of the profile parliamentary committee in Kyiv, he said that Naftogaz now has no specific preferences for privatization options – to a strategic investor or in the market for a wider range of buyers.
According to Kobolev, this issue requires further discussion.
