Ukrenergo states power supplies to some parts of ATO zone from Russia
National energy company Ukrenergo states power supplies to the occupied territories of Donbas from Russia.
"The Krasnodon and Antratsit power knots and a part of Alchevsk and Luhansk received power from the Russian power grid via the 500 kV Pobeda-Shakhty overhead power line," the press service of Ukrenergo has reported.
As reported the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine in February 2015 received four lines running between Russia and the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone from the list of interstate power lines. The 500 kV Pobeda-Shakhty overhead power line, 330 kV Pivdenna-Rostovskaya, 220 kV Amvrosiyivka-Taganrog and 110 kV Kvashyne-Tiagovaya-branch line to Gundarevka substation were removed from the list.
Ukraine will not pay for supplies of Russian electricity to the territories of Donbas that are not under control of the Ukrainian government.
