Ukraine's economy ministry estimates GDP decline in 2015 at 10%
Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Ministry has estimated a decline in gross domestic product (GDP) in 2015 at 10% compared to 2014, First Deputy Minister Yulia Kovaliv said.
"In general, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry estimates that a GDP decline slowed to 10%, whereas the beginning of the year (the first quarter of 2015) saw a 17.2% decline," she wrote on Facebook.
As the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported, Ukraine saw a 1.2% GDP decline in the fourth quarter of 2015 compared to the same period of 2015, whereas Ukraine's GDP declined by 7% in the third quarter, 14.6% in the second quarter, and 17.2% in the first quarter.
