Yatseniuk calls for high tech development in Ukraine
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has called Ukraine to develop high technology that will ensure successful future for the country.
"I think that new Ukraine is the same as a new world, while a new world is the fourth industrial revolution," he said in Kyiv, when opening Ukraine's first non-profit incubator of IT projects based on open data "1991 Open Data Incubator."
According to the premier, high technology and the talent of Ukrainians can make the Ukrainian agrarian sector stronger, will enable Ukrainian youth to receive education remotely, as 35 million people around the world do this, help law enforcement agencies provide a higher level of security for citizens, make the government's work more transparent, while politicians using high technology will make decisions more quickly and carefully.
Yatseniuk noted that ten years ago everyone thought that the main and most important potential is oil, gas, and plants. However, he said time showed that the most important capital is intelligence.
