Loss of State Space Agency's enterprise from cancelation of contracts with Russia in space and military industry reach UAH 2 bln a year - IMF
The potential losses of companies managed by the State Space Agency of Ukraine from the cancelation of contracts by Russian clients in the space and military industry are estimated at 80% of their revenue of UAH 2 billion a year, according to the report of the IMF experts entitled "Technical assistance report — reforming management and oversight of state assets" and published on Monday.
According to the document dated March 2015, among other examples of shocks state-run enterprises in Ukraine face are the losses from war-affected collapse in mining production, cargo traffic and rolling stock depletion (estimated at $800 million by the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine).
According to a posting on the website of the State Space Agency of Ukraine, it manages five design bureaus and research institutes, nine engineering and device production centers and 12 specialized institutions.
