Ukraine imports 1.2 mln tonnes of coal worth $106 mln in Jan 2016
Ukraine in January 2016 imported coal and anthracite (foreign activity code 2701) worth $105.943 million.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the Russian Federation supplied coal for $54.97 million to Ukraine, Australia delivered coal for $23.207 million, the United States for $13.56 million, other countries for $14.206 million.
The total volume of produce delivered to the country in the past month amounted to 1.204 million tonnes.
At the same time, Ukraine in January 2015 exported 29,099 tonnes of coal and anthracite worth $2.772 million.
As reported, in 2015 Ukraine imported 14.598 million tonnes of coal and anthracite worth $1.632 billion, in particular from Russia it received coal for $771.317 million, from the United States for $399.247 million, from Kazakhstan for $123.684 million, from other countries for $338.229 million.
