Budget implemented in Jan – Finance Minister

The indicators included into the law on the 2016 national budget are realistic, and the implementation of the budget in January is evidence of this," Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko said, speaking in the parliament on Friday.

"As of January 28, two days before the end of the month, we implemented the revenue target by 94% and the expenses target – by 73%," she said.

She added that all internal and foreign debts are being services in the full amount and in the required period of time.

She said that the 2016 budget is built, not taking into account the effect of reducing the market in the shadows thanks to the cut of single social security tax by almost 50%, to 22%. She said that there is first information that the effect of reducing the market in the shadows will be seen.
