Prominvestbank intends to suspend cooperation with Fitch
Prominvestbank (Kyiv) plans to suspend cooperation with the Fitch international rating agency in making international and national ratings, the bank reported on its website.
According to the report, the decision to suspend cooperation with Fitch is due to Ukrainian banks' having no possibility of borrowing funds in international capital markets in the current conditions. After financial markets stabilize, the bank plans to reconsider the issue of cooperation with international rating agencies. At the same time, Prominvestbank will continue cooperation with the Expert Rating national rating agency, reads a statement.
Prominvestbank was founded in 1992. Its largest shareholder on October 1, 2015 was Vnesheconombank (Russia, 99.39%).
Prominvestbank ranked fourth among 123 operating banks in the country on October 1, 2015 in terms of net assets (UAH 55.885 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
