Ukraine finds no salmonella in eggs supplied to Israel – Agriculture Minister
Ukrainian Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Oleksiy Pavlenko has stated Ukraine found no salmonella in eggs supplied to Israel.
"Today at 12:00 I had a meeting with producers, at which it was clearly stated that salmonella bacterium have not been found. Now we are waiting for the results from the Israeli side," the minister told reporters after a government meeting in Kyiv.
As reported, on January 20, 2016 the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel, following the ban on eggs imports from Ukraine, prohibited eggs imports from Spain, its major supplier of these goods.
