Agrarian Fund signs contracts to buy 400,000 tonnes of grain
Public joint-stock company Agrarian Fund as of December 31, 2015 had signed contracts to buy 400,000 tonnes of second and third class grain under the autumn forward program of 2016.
The company’s press service reported on Thursday that the advance payment would be over UAH 900 million, and UAH 770 million has been already sent as advance payments.
As reported, in late 2015, Agrarian Fund increased purchase of grain under the autumn forward program of 2016 from planned 300,000 to 500,000 tonnes. The necessity to increase purchase appeared due to the need of famers in additional funds.
Agrarian Fund was founded by a government decree in spring 2013. Its charter capital is UAH 5 billion.
