Ukraine running late in filing report under Kyoto Protocol
Ukraine hasn't yet filed its report upon expiration of the additional period for fulfilling commitments under the first commitment period of Kyoto Protocol (true-up period report), the deadline for which was January 2, 2016.
This follows from the materials published on the website of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
As reported, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk earlier ordered an internal investigation regarding the possible improper performance of duties by officials of the Ecology Ministry when holding a tender for the modernization of lighting using the money received under the Kyoto Protocol
