Campaign for declaring income for 2015 starts on Jan 1 – Fiscal Service
The campaign for 2015 income declaration by citizens started from January 1, 2016, the State Fiscal Service has said.
"Taxpayers can choose whether to file a declaration at the place of tax address in person or by an authorized person, by mail or by electronic means of communication," reads a report posted on the website of the service.
The service said that documents should be sent via mail no later than five days before the deadline for filing returns. If the declaration is submitted in an electronic form in compliance with the conditions of registration of an electronic signature, it is necessary to send it no later than during the last hour of the deadline for submission.
The agency reported that in January-April 2016 taxpayers' service centers will work on the extended schedule, while the declaration can be submitted during the weekend as well. If necessary, taxpayers will get free advice and assistance on completing the document.
