Deposit Guarantee Fund sells insolvent banks' assets worth UAH 1.2 bln in 2015
The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund in 2015 sold the assets of insolvent banks for UAH 1.2 billion, according to the website of the fund.
According to the report, in the last week of last year insolvent banks' assets that were sold amounted to UAH 120 million.
As reported, the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund planned by the end of 2015 to sell the property of 47 insolvent banks for UAH 2.4 billion.
According to the fund, the assets of insolvent banks managed by the fund as of September 1 amounted to UAH 331.4 billion, of which the amount of assets pledged to the National Bank amounted to UAH 119.6 billion.
The National Bank of Ukraine in 2015 withdrew 33 banks from the market, while in 2014-2015 declared 63 financial institutions insolvent.
