Poroshenko congratulates Netherlands on start of EU presidency

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the Netherlands on the beginning of a six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union.

"I congratulate the Netherlands on the beginning of presidency of the Council of the European Union. I believe in solidarity with Ukraine!" Poroshenko wrote on his Twitter page.

As reported, the mandate of presidency of the European Union from January 1 passes to the Netherlands from Luxembourg for six months.
