Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Thursday, December 31, signed a law on the national budget for 2016, according to the presidential press service.
"The President of Ukraine has signed the law on the national budget of Ukraine for 2016," the presidential press service reported on the president's official website on Thursday evening.
As was reported, Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada adopted the 2016 national budget bill in the early hours of December 25.
The national budget's revenue in 2016 will be UAH 595.1 billion, which is 15.1%, or UAH 88.1 billion, more than in 2015. The expenditures and loans were set at UAH 684.5 billion, which is 14.5%, or 86.7 billion up on 2015.
Before the document was passed to the president for signing, it was signed by Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Groysman on December 29.
